In Time...

In Time…

Have you ever worked and wondered, “Is this all in vain?”

There are times when we have given our all, we’ve been dedicated, we’ve been considerate, and it looks like that for all our effort, nothing will ever come of it.

This can be true no matter what it is that we are working on – whether it is blogging for business, or prospecting for buyers and sellers through traditional means. Or even in our personal lives, it may seem as if everything that we do has no significance or point to it at all.

But in time, we all reap what we have sown, whether it is good or bad. So we should never give up or despair that what we have done is for naught, for everything happens in its proper season, in its proper time…

This Week’s Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1 (New Living Translation)

1 For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.

Staying In The Press...

Staying in the Press…

It never ceases to amaze me that in the middle of all the turbulence of life that so many people continue to not only survive, but thrive.

I do honestly believe that the reason that this is so is simply because those who do have a goal in mind, and a plan to reach that goal. Furthermore, because they have that goal firmly fixed in their mind, they will let nothing keep them from achieving it.

Such tenacity, such drive, means that one consistently presses their way towards their goal. Obstacles will come, but they remain in the press…delays come, but they stay in the press…failures occur, but they stay in the press…disappointments come, but they stay in the press…

When those leads don’t quite pan out, do you give up, or do you stay in the press? When that offer gets countered, do you throw in the towel, or do you stay in the press? When you are passed over after a listing appointment for another agent, do you stay in the press and move on to the next appointment?

In order to succeed in this business, it is imperative that you stay in the press….

This week’s Scripture: Philippians 3:14 (New Living Translation)

14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Waterbury CT - A Great Place To Live!

Waterbury CT -  A Great Place To Live!

Well, I've been a resident of Waterbury CT all my life, and it is always very interesting to hear the perspectives of those looking to move to Waterbury CT from varied places.

Really? Yes, really. People do want to move to the Brass City, for more than one reason.

The conversation that I had about an hour or so ago was very telling.

Remember the snowstorms that hit the Northeast in the last two months? The news was awash in stories of people dying because they couldn't get medical attention due to the massive amounts of snow that blocked entire streets. Those stories emanated from larger metropolitan areas like New York. We didn't have any stories like that here in Waterbury CT.

Or what about the educational system? Or the environment? Or the atmosphere? People in larger cities are looking for quiet space, better school systems, and an environment where they can enjoy a walk in the park or down the street without having to worry about being barraged with a tirade of profanity or worse, being mugged. This is a phenomenon that crosses gender, marital and familial status, age, race or nationality.

Places like Waterbury CT are an ideal fit for any buyer looking to get away from the hustle, bustle, and dangers of big cities. With great parks to choose from and a great selection of local schools, Waterbury CT is a great place to live!
